The Cancel Policy
At PXL24, we recognize the crucial role of commitment in the creative industry. Whether you are a content creator or a client booking services, last-minute cancellations can be a significant inconvenience. To foster a reliable and professional environment, we have established a strict cancellation policy. This policy aims to ensure that all parties involved in bookings are serious about their commitments. Here are the details of our cancellation policy:
For Clients
Once a booking is made, paid for, and confirmed, clients have up to 48 hours to decline the booking without penalty. However, if the cancellation occurs after this 48-hour window, 50% of the payment will be allocated to the videographer as compensation for their time and potential loss of other opportunities. Please note that full PXL24’s handling fees for the transaction and handling are non-refundable under any circumstances.
For Content Creators
Similarly, content creators have up to 48 hours after a booking is confirmed to decline it. Failure to cancel within this period will result in a 4-week ban from the PXL24 platform. This measure ensures that our clients can rely on the availability and commitment of the content creators they book. Further Restrictions will follow with further cancellations. any payments made for subscriptions, boosts or enhanced listing features will not compensated back when banned.
Illness
For Content Creators
If a content creator falls ill and cannot attend the event for which they were booked, they must inform the client as soon as possible. Additionally, proof of illness needs to be sent to us to verify their incapacity to work. If this documentation is not provided within 30 days of reporting ill, the content creator will receive a 60-day ban from the platform.
For Clients
If a client becomes ill on the day of the project, the payment will not be refunded. However, PXL24 encourages both clients and content creators to communicate proactively. In some cases, content creators might be willing to reschedule the project dates out of fairness, although this is not enforced by PXL24 but is highly encouraged to display positive faith in the community.
Projects Booked Within 48 Hours of the Event Day
For bookings made within 48 hours of the event day, clients are required to directly contact the content creators to confirm their availability on such short notice. If any issues arise, we encourage both parties to reach out to us for assistance in finding a resolution. In cases where additional costs are incurred by either party, these expenses must be fully covered by the party responsible for the issue. The full PXL24 handling fees for the transaction and handling are non-refundable under any circumstances.
